"Red Earth" - Pippin Drysdale (Australia)

The show presents porcelain vessels by the Australian artist Pippin Drysdale. She has won international reputation for objects of extraordinary size and technical sophistication, whose aesthetic appeal is due to the artist’s imaginative adaptation of the colours, shapes and geological structures of Australia’s deserts.

For this special occasion the Gallery is guest of the Museum für Angewandte Kunst – Schaumainkai 17 – Frankfurt/Main

February 2 to April 27:

Highlights of English Ceramics: Gordon Baldwin - Alison Britton - Ken Eastman - Julian Stair (Great Britain)

This show is a contribution of Düsseldorf’s famous Hetjens Museum to a comprehensive project which offers a survey of British activities and British cultural presence in Nordrhein-Westfalen and has been realised in cooperation with the Gallery.

Group ’83 with Special Guests: (Germany)

The Group ’83, in which Germany’s most prominent ceramicists are informally conjoined, looks back on twenty years of existence and stimulating activity, a welcome opportunity to celebrate the two anniversaries together. The Heidelberg show presents works by 31 artists comprising members of the group and specially invited fellow artists as their guests.
