Swiss-American artist Marc Leuthold, known for his cosmopolitan travels, and internationally
renowned Belgian artist Patty Wouters will open this year's exhibition series at the Marianne
Heller Gallery on 8 March 2026 under the motto ‘ONE & ONE’.
For Patty Wouters, porcelain, with its purity and transparency, has become the most
expressive material in her work for addressing human relationships, communication, balance
and vulnerability in a universally understandable way. Marc Leuthold, with a seemingly
related urge to experiment and research porcelain, strives for abstraction in his typical radial
and filigree carved disc forms, which evoke a restless oscillation of diverse associations.
While Marc Leuthold plays with space in his sculptures, Patty Wouters' symbol-rich wall
works provide the framework for an exciting exhibition.
