What makes a work of art special? Is it the precision of the craftsmanship, the expressiveness or the quiet presence in the room?
WINNERS presents works by international artists in ceramics, wood, glass and jewellery that have won numerous awards for their exceptional quality and creative power.
A special highlight is an evening with Ernst Gamperl, the world's most sought-after wood artist: on Thursday, 13 November 2025, he will be present in person to present his new book as part of the exhibition.
The exhibition is part of the cultural programme of the city of Heidelberg as part of its application to become European Capital of Culture 2034 and sends a clear signal about the artistic significance of contemporary applied art.
