The Marianne Heller Gallery, which actually specialises in ceramics, is making glass art from Czechia an integral part of its exhibition programme, thereby setting a new international accent on the scene.
Once again, this is a collaboration with the Kuzebauch Gallery in Prague, which specialises in presenting extraordinary studio objects by young and established designers and artists. The selection of 11 artists represents a cross-section of the glass art scene in the Czech Republic across several generations.
The high quality of Czech glass artistry was recognised in December 2023 with its inclusion in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.
